Happy Friday Everyone! You've worked hard all week, and now it's time to have fun! Getting out and enjoying the beautiful Bay Area, as well as enjoying the company of friends old and new, is great for your mental health. So check out some of our favorite events from around the Bay that you can attend this weekend!

The Setup is back with the best live Outdoor comedy shows this summer!


We will be bringing you the most talented comedians and rising stars on a weekly basis. The top performers in San Francisco as well as traveling headliners from Los Angeles will be showcasing their funniest material.


This will be an epic series that is not to be missed. Comedians from CONAN, America's Got Talent, and HBO are sure to leave you with a night to remember.


The shows will be outside in the fresh air. Masks will be required during entry. Hand sanitizer will be available. It may get chilly so we encourage you to bring jackets and blankets.


Drinks will be available for purchase from the Monarch SF bar truck. There will also be delicious dinner items from the best local food trucks.


Food and beverages will be available 1 hour before the show so get there early and grab some grub and settle in.


We strictly adhere by all of San Francisco's COVID-19 guidelines so you can finally safely enjoy live comedy once again!

District Six is an outdoor continuously evolving experience that brings individuals safely together to enjoy a curated selection of local small good vendors and food trucks. We also feature weekly themes and live entertainment such as local DJs or bands.


Please note: Most importantly, we are also following social distancing and health protocols which includes tables being placed 6 feet apart, mandatory masks for each attendee, and disinfecting surfaces after each group.

TheRumLab.com is proud to celebrate the 6th California Rum Festival. The event will be currently held at The Hibernia Bank - San Francisco, California. Last year more than 80 rum expressions participated and over 700 people attended the event. This year we will enhance the event adding a Trade Program. Beneficiary partner AFAN Foundation.


The USA is considered one of the most important countries for the entire rum industry. Before the American Revolution, rum was the most consumed spirit, and now an awakening is occurring. The Rum Lab – “The California Rum Fest is focused on becoming the Official Rum Expo throughout the West Coast”


Our team are the producers of the Puerto Rico Rum Fest "Taste of Rum", the Miami Rum Congress, New York Rum Festival and Chicago Rum Festival. All events attracting hundreds of people from trade, rum aficionados, tourists & locals.


The event is divided into few sessions & experiences.


The Spirit Industry Session consists of a 1.5-hour program (2:00pm - 3:30pm) offering industry professionals the opportunity to: (1) network with the brand representative, (2) attend training seminars, (3) taste a wide variety of rums and (4) mingle with industry colleagues.

Come celebrate peace, creativity, and weirdness at the 22nd annual How Weird Street Faire. Located in the re-emerging heart of downtown San Francisco, How Weird features music and art, a unique and quirky marketplace, a cannabis area, performances, and a wide range of excitement. Join thousands of people in colorful attire dancing in the streets at 8 different stages of dance music. This year’s theme is “Eternal Return”, as we gather once again. Come dressed in your weirdest costume!


Following local guidelines, the How Weird Street Faire has instituted two requirements for entry to the Faire on Sunday September 12...


Proof of full vaccination

Face Masks


Full vaccination means two weeks after the second Pfizer or Moderna shot, or two weeks after the single Johnson & Johnson shot. To provide proof of vaccination when arriving, please show either your original Vaccination Card (or photo); or the CA DPH Vaccination QR Code, downloadable from https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov


Unvaccinated kids under 12 can enter, but must be accompanied by a vaccinated adult. Both kids and adults should be masked.

Art Alley!


Art Alley will showcase the visual arts, with live and exhibited artwork, interactive pieces, and local craft vendors. Art Alley will be expanded this year, located on both sides of Minna Street off of 2nd Street. Stroll the legendary open air gallery, and be inspired by the abundance of creativity. There will be visionary artists from around the Bay Area, along with the nearby sounds of dub music.

The How Weird Marketplace!


The How Weird Street Faire is filled with vendors from around the world selling unique and designer goods. From clothing to art to jewelry and accessories, you can find interesting things and new styles. How Weird features an unusually diverse shopping experience that you won’t find anywhere else. Food trucks and local restaurants will offer a wide variety of delicious meals, and there will be plenty of tasty drinks. Green Alley!


Green Alley will be located on Tehama Street this year, filled with the world of cannabis. Come learn and be delighted. There will be downtempo tunes and exciting speakers.

It is strongly recommended to take public transportation to the faire. It is very difficult to find parking these days. The How Weird Street Faire is located a short walk from Market Street and the Montgomery BART station, as well as next to the Transbay Terminal, and a short walk to the Caltrains Station and many MUNI lines. You can also take Lyft/Uber to the faire, with a designated pick up spot at 1st Street and Howard.


How Weird welcomes all ages, and all types of people. The faire is handicapped accessible. Glass bottles and weapons are not allowed in the faire, bags may be searched when entering. Please come to the faire with an open mind, dancing shoes, and a colorful costume.



 
Golden State Warriors Farmers Market

The Warriors and Kaiser Permanente are hosting weekly Thrive City Farmers Market every Sunday from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.


Thrive City plaza, the community gathering space surrounding Chase Center, will provide shoppers with access to a wide variety of locally-sourced offerings including seasonal fruits, fresh produce, naturally-raised meats, farm fresh eggs and artisan pastries. The Farmers’ Market will also include health and wellness sessions, live music, scavenger hunts, a kids corner and more!
