MEAL AND REST PERIODS

All non-exempt employees are required to take an uninterrupted 30-minute duty-free meal period to commence not later than the end of the fifth hour of work and a second uninterrupted 30-minute meal period free from all duty to commence not later than the end of the tenth hour, should an employee work that many hours in any given day.
Employees will also receive one, ten-minute paid break for every four hours worked (or major fraction thereof). Rest breaks may not be waived, and they cannot be used to shorten the workday or be accumulated for any other purpose.

As a general rule, and insofar as practicable, rest periods must be taken in the middle of each four-hour work period. If, at any point, you are denied the ability to take a meal or rest break, or if any break is interrupted, you must notify The Job Shop in writing immediately. Waiver of Meal Period: Employees may waive their meal periods only under the following circumstances: If you will complete your workday in six hours, you may waive your meal period, provided that you have executed the Company’s Meal Break Waiver Form.
