Getting out and enjoying the beautiful Bay Area, as well as enjoying the company of friends old and new, is great for your mental health. As we all emerge from hibernation, the fog lifts and new stories must be told. Because what else can we do? The Bay Area’s long-running Porchlight storytelling series returns with uplifting-themed tales from West Coast authors. Featuring Charlie Jane Anders, Kelly Beardsley, Michelle Cernuto, Tracy Clark-Flory, Miah Jeffra, and Monique Jenkinson (aka Fauxnique). Co-hosted by Arline Klatte and Beth Lisick. Music by Marc Capelle. Doors at 7 pm, show at 8 pm. $25 adv / $30 door


A maximum of 150 tickets will be sold.


Walk-up tickets must be purchased via Venmo or PayPal.


This program is indoors. Mask and proof of vaccination are required at the door. Please read the requirements at litquake.org/covid.

District Six is an outdoor continuously evolving experience that brings individuals safely together to enjoy a curated selection of local small good vendors and food trucks. We also feature weekly themes and live entertainment such as local DJs or bands.


Please note: Most importantly, we are also following social distancing and health protocols which includes tables being placed 6 feet apart, mandatory masks for each attendee, and disinfecting surfaces after each group.

Saturday, October 16th

 
Tiburon Wine Festival

20th Street Corridor, San Francisco

Free


The 20th Street corridor will once again be transformed into a FREE party to showcase and celebrate a diverse neighborhood that blends modern ideas with community traditions to create a new San Francisco experience. This free, delicious summer feast and dance party will feature some of the City’s best restaurants, local businesses and artisans as well as a variety of indie bands.


Doors open at 12:00 PM. Music ends at 6:00 PM.


All Ages to dance, 21+ to drink.

  • RSVPs are required for all Block Party attendees.

  • All members of your group must enter at the same time.

  • Mask requirements are subject to the current San Francisco Department of Public Health order.

Lips & Lashes Drag Brunch, hosted by Carnie Asada, is a one of a kind variety show featuring the Bay Areas most diverse entertainment.


About this event


The show features a rotating cast with a range of talents from drag illusionists, burlesque, live vocalists, dancers, and more. You can expect lots of laughs, delicious food, tasty specialty cocktails. Featuring drinks by El Jimador Tequila & Jack Daniels. Doors open at 11am, with the shows starting at noon & 2:00pm


This event is 21+ .

Golden State Warriors Farmers Market

Chase Center, San Francisco

The Warriors and Kaiser Permanente are hosting weekly Thrive City Farmers Market every Sunday from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.


Thrive City plaza, the community gathering space surrounding Chase Center, will provide shoppers with access to a wide variety of locally-sourced offerings including seasonal fruits, fresh produce, naturally-raised meats, farm fresh eggs and artisan pastries. The Farmers’ Market will also include health and wellness sessions, live music, scavenger hunts, a kids corner and more!
