Come experience one of the largest pop-up art movements to hit North America over the past decade. Celebrating over 10 years of serving FREE PANCAKES and introducing you to some of the nation's leading emerging artists.

ABOUT The Pancakes & Booze Art Show:


The LA based event originated in 2009 and has since popped up more than 500 times in 35+ cities around Europe & North America.

Batter sizzles, beer foams, and canvas lines the walls from ceiling to floor as hundreds, sometimes thousands, of revelers indulge in endless pancakes.

This is no stuffy wine-and-cheese, pretentious, someone-gag-me art event. It’s an innovative reimagining of the art show concept. A welcoming vibe for up-and-coming artists to sell and strut their stuff in a free verse, anything goes environment.

Entry is based on the capacity of the venue when you arrive.

The art is on exhibit until midnight, but the bar typically stays open later. The event has the right to end earlier or extend later depending on the size of the crowd. Ver menos

Fridays are always a great time to go roller skating. This is a session where kids and families skate along with anyone that's in the mode to get their skate groove on early!!! Please skate safely. All participants must please follow the direction of the rink personnel.


Skate Rental are available for $5.00, but not included with the purchase of your ticket.


NO REFUNDS!!! Attendees are NOT allowed to transfer their registration between this event and another event. Be sure you are selecting the proper date and time you want to skate.

Drunk Theatre is the entirely improvised, unpredictable, and crazy comedy show that’ll kick your weekend into overdrive. Come see what the SF Chronicle, CBS, LA Times, SF Weekly, SFGate, Thrillist, and TimeOut have all been talking about.


  • Door opens at 7:30pm, show starts at 8:00pm

  • Tickets are $25 at the door

  • Limited ticket availability at the door.


24-hour notice required for cancelations. Late cancelations may be transferred to another show date of your choosing. Seating is first come, first serve. Parties later than 15-20 minutes may have their tickets sold at the door.

Watercolor Classes

Watercolor ~ Easy Fundamentals; these three classes (9:15 to 12:15) will provide the artist with the basics; a solid foundation of watercolor painting techniques. Lecture, demonstration, practice exercises, personal attention and reference handouts are included. Students will be expected to complete simple exercises during the session. A detailed material list will be provided to registrants. We'll cover:


* Materials and Equipment; paper, paint, and brushes

Learn how to make sausages with The Local Butcher Shop’s Sausage Makers! Each participant will make their own pork sausage. From grinding to mixing, recipes and proportions, to casings, you’ll learn, and then do it all yourself! And, you’ll go home with your creations—approximately 3 lbs. of pork sausage and 2 lbs. of merguez sausage!


Inform The Local Butcher Shop of all food allergies two week prior to class.


Cancellation/Refund Policy: Refunds for cancellation requests received at least two weeks before the class date are eligible for a refund. If a class is sold out, you may receive a refund ONLY if someone can take your spot, regardless of the two week policy. No refunds will be offered for cancellation requests less than two weeks prior to the class date. NOTE: Classes may be cancelled if there is not enough registration (which rarely happens!) In that case, you will receive a full refund, or you will be given the option to reschedule.

Cheaper Than Therapy offers a healthy dose of live stand-up comedy every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, year-round. Located in San Francisco's historic Shelton Theater in the heart of Union Square, Cheaper Than Therapy is convenient to get to, whether you live in the Bay Area or are just visiting.

About the show


Each show features five to six hand-picked, experienced comedians and an occasional guest drop-in.


Please arrive at the theater by 7:45pm to check in with the box office. The bar opens at 7pm, and the show starts at 8pm. Last seating is at 8:20pm.


The theater has a full bar with no drink minimum. Come early for craft drinks and great seats!

We encourage everyone 21+ to party with us at the Shelton Theater bar.

Is there an age requirement?

The show is for mature audience members of 18+ only.

Is there a drink minimum?

No, there is no drink minimum.

What if I'm late?

This is a live show, and we want everyone to have a great time. As a courtesy to the performers and audience, we will not seat those who arrive after 8:20pm. If you are unable to make it by this time, please let us know. We would be happy to transfer your tickets to a future date.

Is there parking available?

There is no parking at the theater, but there are many public parking garages close by. See your options on Parkopedia.

If the event is sold out, will you have tickets at the door?

We often sell out, so please buy your tickets in advance. If the event is sold out online, we will not have any extra tickets to sell at the door. In that case, please get tickets to the next show!

If I can't make it to the show anymore, will the fees be refunded?

Unfortunately, Eventbrite does not refund any fees, so only the base ticket price is refunded. However, we're happy to transfer your tickets to a future show of your choice instead. Just email us at info@cttcomedy.com let us know that you can no longer make it and want to transfer your tickets. Once you've decided on a date that works better for you, email us again at least 48 hours in advance of the show, and we'll confirm your tickets.
