Event Safety Guidelines:
Masks are REQUIRED for NON-VACCINATED individuals. We highly recommend wearing a mask.
FoodieLand is implementing staggered entry time to reduce overcrowding and provide a better experience. Please choose your desired arrival time when purchasing your tickets online. There is no limit on how long you can stay at the event.
The following individuals are exempt from wearing masks at all times (CDPH):
Persons younger than two years old. Very young children must not wear a mask because of the risk of suffocation.
Persons with a medical condition, mental health condition, or disability that prevents wearing a mask. This includes persons with a medical condition for whom wearing a mask could obstruct breathing or who are unconscious, incapacitated, or otherwise unable to remove a mask without assistance.
Persons who are hearing impaired, or communicating with a person who is hearing impaired, where the ability to see the mouth is essential for communication.
Increased Sanitation:
Handwashing stations and hand sanitizers will be strategically placed around the event area.
High-touch surfaces will be disinfected throughout the event.

District Six is an outdoor continuously evolving experience that brings individuals safely together to enjoy a curated selection of local small good vendors and food trucks. We also feature weekly themes and live entertainment such as local DJs or bands.
Please note: Most importantly, we are also following social distancing and health protocols which includes tables being placed 6 feet apart, mandatory masks for each attendee, and disinfecting surfaces after each group.

Get ready to check out the Bay’s most polished and decked out lowriders at this annual “King of the Streets” car show which includes an epic in a lowrider car hopping contest. Afterward, the lowriders will cruise the Mission starting around 4pm.
The San Francisco Lowriders Council is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2021 was founded in 1981 to help preserve and promote the art and culture of lowriding in the Bay Area.
While we don’t know how big the contingency will be for 2021, there is space for 700 cars and typically there are over 300 lowriders and bikes participating in the show and the cruise – with the biggest boppers squaring off in the hopping competition, (check out the review and amazing drone footage on stanceworks).

When is the Lowrider Cruise?
The official event website says 4-8pm, but SFMTA says it will be ongoing from 2-10pm.
Here’s what the SFMTA says: Saturday, Aug. 14: The San Francisco Low Rider Council will be conducting a 40th Anniversary cruise and celebration from 2 to 10 p.m. Event will take place on Mission Street between 23rd and 26th streets; and on 24th Street from Osage Street to South Van Ness Avenue.
Travelers heading the event area should allow extra travel time, should expect heavy traffic and possible street closures around the event area during the event hours:

24th Street between Valencia Street and South Van Ness Avenue

The Warriors and Kaiser Permanente are hosting weekly Thrive City Farmers Market every Sunday from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Thrive City plaza, the community gathering space surrounding Chase Center, will provide shoppers with access to a wide variety of locally-sourced offerings including seasonal fruits, fresh produce, naturally-raised meats, farm fresh eggs and artisan pastries.
