Doing what she loves

If you like to read, you may be the next best Editor.

If you like gardening, you may be the next best Botanist.

If you like to cook, you may be the next Best Chef. – And if you are lucky, land a TV show!

Everyone has untapped talents and is striving to figure out what they want to do.  Figuring out what you are good at will put you in the position to make your mark on the world.

When you first start out looking for work and business opportunities, it may seem scary.   The best advice is to keep all your options open.  You can be or do anything you set your mind to.  Don’t limit your focus to one idea, one industry or one profession!  Just go for it.

Ask, text, meet, greet, correspond, call, reach out to everyone you know.  Ask good questions, take it all in and figure out what some of the best people you know are doing.  Then you can form opinions on the direction you may want to go.  Keep all your skills and attributes in mind, and make sure to show and express them to those you are communicating with.

However, reality sets in and then you must have a job to pay the rent.  This is where you can jump into action and show the world what you are made of.  All your talents, however big or small, can be showcased when you enter the workforce.  Being open-minded and looking at a variety of opportunities can make this journey a little easier.

Take one step at a time and figure out how to show the world the best of yourself.
