You might not be a fan of football, but many people are! The passion people have for teams and players can be wonderful. In the best cases it brings excitement and joy to people's lives and gives them an outlet for releasing stress while gathering with friends and family to crush the competition.
Every fan has their favorite team, and to each of them their team is the BEST regardless of scores or records. A good fan shows their support for their team and makes a commitment to supporting them whether they win or lose. In affect, they become a PART of that team.
When teams gather and play the game, someone wins and someone loses. That is the nature of a competitive sport. There will be injuries, triumphs, tribulations, and lots of emotion, but the game goes on. What makes a team special though, regardless of the outcome, are the connections between the players. Are they in tune with and supporting one another? Are they looking to improve upon the skills they have? Are they passionate about the whole process?
One of the biggest indicators of long term success for any team is the way they are built.
