Mark Twain called Sacramento City the “City of Saloons” and it seems like nothing’s changed.  The legendary Gold Rush Beer Crawl returns on Friday of Labor Day weekend to Old Sacramento, September 4, 6 p.m. to midnight.  For just $10, get craft beer samples (6-9 oz pours) at nine of Old Sac’s legendary bars:

Tickets also available in advance at participating bars.  Redeem online ticket vouchers at the Beer Crawl booth at 2nd and K Streets between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Friday, September 4.

Oakland First Fridays is an immersive art and community experience on the first Friday of each month on Telegraph Avenue from West Grand to 27th Street. Every First Friday from 5–9:30 pm, Oakland’s KONO district springs to life with for this event, with galleries, artist collectives, street artists, local culinary artisans, performers, musicians, dancers, DJ’s, and poets gathering for Oakland First Friday events.

Thousands of people come from across the Bay Area and beyond to see and experience art, be inspired, eat great food, enjoy live music, and stroll through the amazing, eclectic city of Oakland. The Sausalito Art Festival is the top-rated event of its kind and the perfect way to celebrate your Labor Day Weekend. Meet over 260 artists, and have the opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind paintings, drawings, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry and more.

The festival is located along the beautiful Sausalito Waterfront.

2015 SAUSALITO ART FESTIVAL MUSIC LINE UP

There’s a lot to enjoy at the Sausalito Art Festival, but one of the most anticipated features are the artists on the two performance stages at the festival.  We have had the pleasure of hosting legend after legend on the Stella Artois main stage and this year is no different.

This year, to kick things off with a bang, we have the 50th anniversary performance celebration of Jefferson Airplane, Grateful Dead and the San Francisco Sound.  To commemorate this occasion, the one and only Jefferson Starship will light up the main stage.

Blankets and Adirondack chairs are available to rent for a complete Picnic experience.

Off the Grid is proud to partner with the Presidio Trust. In addition to Off the Grid: Picnic at the Presidio, patrons are invited to enjoy the many activities within the Presidio, including 24 miles of hiking trails, eight scenic overlooks, sculptures by Andy Goldsworthy, the Walt Disney Family Museum, the Officer’s Club and Heritage Center, and neighboring restaurants The Commissary and Arguello.
