The Presidio Trust is proud to present the 13th annual Film in the Fog! Bring the whole family out for a magical night under the stars featuring an outdoor screening of Disney’s untold story of Maleficent, a vengeful fairy driven to curse an infant princess Aurora, only to discover that Aurora may be the one person who can restore peace in her troubled land.
Accompanied by live music from the Lady Crooners and food from one of Off the Grid’s tasty BBQ food trucks. FREE popcorn!
The event will be held on the lawn behind the Presidio Dance Theatre, 386 Arguello Boulevard, on the Presidio’s Main Post.
Brown is the new green! We’re doing our part to conserve water during this drought and have suspended irrigation of this lawn. BYO blankets and ground cover.
About the Lady Crooners
The Lady Crooners are a folk/pop/’almost country’ band from San Francisco. The six piece group features three part harmonies, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, and percussion/mandolin. The band is about bringing together family and friends, and sharing authentic darn good music. The Lady Crooners give every performance their all and always leave a crowd wanting more, so come croon along with them!

Love cheese? Join the California Artisan Cheese Guild for the first-ever SF Cheese Fest, an event bringing together acclaimed cheesemakers, Bay Area brews, and the best of local craft food production.
Meet dozens of cheesemakers, cheesemongers, goat wranglers, sheep ranchers, cow and buffalo milkers and more. There will be curated pairings and bites with the Bay Area’s cutting edge producers including We Love Jam, Friend in Cheeses, Bay Area Bee Company, Mimi’s Confiture, Poco Dolce, Mission Chese, Rustic Bakery, Josey Bakery Bread and Fra’Mani along with beer from Magnolia Brewery, Fort Point Beer Copmany and Harmonic Brewing. Every Sunday until November 1, picnickers are invited to enjoy the Presidio’s lush Main Post lawn, spectacular views of the bay, and the historic scene of the old post. Specialty items from San Francisco’s favorite eateries and food trucks, Mimosa and Bloody Mary drink kits, and live music from an onsite DJ make this a stand-alone picnic experience.

In addition to complimentary classic picnic amenities including bocce ball, Off the Grid: Picnic @ the Presidio offers yoga classes from “The Pad” and kids yoga from “It’s Yoga Kids”, as well as game rentals and activities from Sports Basement. Blankets and Adirondack chairs are available to rent for a complete Picnic experience.
Off the Grid is proud to partner with the Presidio Trust. In addition to Off the Grid: Picnic at the Presidio, patrons are invited to enjoy the many activities within the Presidio, including 24 miles of hiking trails, eight scenic overlooks, sculptures by Andy Goldsworthy, the Walt Disney Family Museum, the Officer’s Club and Heritage Center, and neighboring restaurants The Commissary and Arguello.
The Presidio Trust’s Design Lab in 103 Montgomery will also be open on Sundays. Drop in to share your thoughts about the New Presidio Parklands Project, a magnificent 13-acre landscape that will integrate the waterfront with the Presidio’s historic Main Post.
