The San Francisco Halloween Pub Crawl is back and it’s bigger than ever! Last year, over 1000 costumed crawlers took over Polk Street for $3 drinks, music, dancing, costume contests more! Think of it as Trick ‘r Treating….for adults. This year, we are expecting well over 2,000 participants for the biggest pub crawl in the city!
This year, we have an extra special addition to the end of the crawl…a Thriller Flash Mob. Starting at 8PM, we will take over the street in front of McTeague’s and a professional dance team will guide us through the dance.

Pub Crawl Details: COSTUMES: Although not required, we would love for everyone to wear a costume! We will have a few photographers on hand to take some great pictures [:-)] CRAWLSF VIPs: CrawlSF and Eye Heart SF VIP Card Holders will be on the list +1. Just go to the VIP line and show your ID to check in. HOW DOES THIS WORK? Once you check in and receive your wristband and Pub Crawl Map, you can choose your own path. There will be too many people to be on a specific schedule, so you can just follow the crowd at your own pace. Specials will be available at ALL the bars during the event times.

Watch as catapults send pumpkins flying across the Hall’s lawn, and learn what it takes to build these devices, also called “trebuchets.”

Creepy Critters in the Animal Discovery Room All weekend, 1:00–4:00 p.m.
Meet some of the slimiest, scaliest, and hairiest creatures you’ll ever see, in our Animal Discovery Room. Play with tarantulas and snakes, hunt for salamanders and frogs, and encounter other spooky creatures like Bunnicula the Vampire Bunny and Wart the Witch’s Toad.
Pumpkin Lifts in the Ingenuity Lab All weekend, 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Design and build a custom hydraulic machine to lift a pumpkin into the air in this Halloween-themed Ingenuity Lab challenge.

Drifting off to sleep, you suddenly see yourself darting down a long and narrow wooden dock. The wood is rotting– riddled with holes and splintering planks. Rusted light posts lining the edges of the path flicker in the dark. A bead of sweat slides down your cheek as you turn in fear to see what might be behind you. You hit the edge of the dock and teeter on the edge, peering into the murky waters below as the sound of razors slashing against a light post shatter the silence of the night. The hand of Freddy Krueger appears in a shadow cast at your feet, and as you turn to see his face, you awaken from your nightmare.

In addition to complimentary classic picnic amenities including bocce ball, Off the Grid: Picnic @ the Presidio offers yoga classes from “The Pad” and kids yoga from “It’s Yoga Kids”, as well as game rentals and activities from Sports Basement. Blankets and Adirondack chairs are available to rent for a complete Picnic experience.
Off the Grid is proud to partner with the Presidio Trust.
