Think you have what it takes to survive the zombie apocalypse? Come find out this Halloween at San Francisco’s ScreamGate Haunted House, a thrilling interactive journey through horror. Steel yourself as you enter through the gates, because you’re entering the world of the undead, where hordes of brain-hungry zombies lurk around every dark twist and turn, waiting to make you their dinner. Can you make it through without becoming one of the walking dead?

PLEASE NOTE: Doors open at 7pm and show begins at 7:30pm when the sun goes down.

Rogue Oregon Blue cheese, smoked grapes, celery leaves, red pepper emulsion

FAQs

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

This event is all ages.

Will you accommodate for food allergies?

We can make some substitutions for those with allergies.  Please contact us upon purchase to let us know.  For this one, we cannot substitute dairy (obviously).

Where is the event located?

The location of the dinner will remain secret until the day before it occurs.  You will receive an email via Eventbrite with all the necessary details.

Do I need to print my tickets?

No, we can handle everything paperless.  Just bring identification.

Can I transfer my tickets?

Yes, there is an option to transfer tickets through Eventbrite.  If you are having trouble, just contact us and we will help.

*For all of you on the fence regarding this weekend’s weather, let’s all take comfort in the positive of having the beerfest at our brewery, and not outside. I.e. rain or shine, we’ll still be pouring!!

It’s almost that time again! For the 3rd and final day of our 28th Anniversary Party we will be hosting our 2nd annual All Oakland Beerfest. Featuring only breweries and cideries located in Oakland proper. This fest is a celebration of the Oakland brewing scene, so come out and try the favorites you know, and the newest and best you don’t. We’ll also be featuring live music throughout the event, as well as our famous build your own tacos. It’s a family friendly event, but please 21 and over to drink.

Featured Breweries include: Ale Industries, Crooked City Cider, Federation Brewing,  Ghost Town Brewing, Linden Street, Line 51 Brewing, Lucky Devil Brewing Company, Nobel Brewer, Novel Brewing,Temescal Brewing, Pacific Coast, and many more! Keep checking as more breweries are added.

Your ticket includes a commemorative glass, and unlimited tastings throughout the duration of the festival.

Pizzafest 2016

Gilman and 9th, Berkeley

Over a dozen teams of professional chefs and enthusiastic amateurs will gather to cook their favorite recipes all day for you to sample. Come and try slice after slice, and vote for your favorites in our Pizzafest People’s Choice competition with over 20 roaring pizza ovens at work.

Fieldwork, Lagunitas, and Gilman Brewing Companies will be pouring beer, and a Pizzacraft merchandise store will allow you to take your pizza inspiration back home with you.

The ticket price gets you unlimited, all-you-can-eat slices from the competing teams. Children under 12 years are free when accompanied by an adult.

All proceeds benefit Building Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency, which serves the homeless, poor, and disabled in the Bay Area. Children under 12 get in free with an adult.

There will be demos of the Pizzeria Pronto Outdoor Pizza Oven (All cook teams will be using the ovens for their own creations). For those who like a little smoke as a topping, the PizzaQue Pizza Kit for Kettle Grills, which converts a charcoal kettle-style grill into a pizza oven, will also be demonstrated.

Halfmoon Bay Pumpkin Festival

See a display of gigantic heavyweight champion pumpkins, two stages of entertainment, and the Great Pumpkin Parade at the annual Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival.

Witness a humongous, mind-bending, Volkswagen-sized weigh-off champion pumpkins on display, the mesmerizing and remarkably talented “Picasso of pumpkin carvers” sculpting and shaping monster pumpkins into one-of-a-kind masterpieces.

There will be harvest-inspired crafts by America’s top artists, the Sunday-only “Made on the Coast” Locals’ Artists Block featuring fine art and live music, fabulous food and drink, the richest/creamiest/tastiest pumpkin pie on the planet, four stages of blockbuster entertainment, everyone’s favorite home-spun parade, the world’s largest mosaic pumpkin sculpture that measures 12-feet long, 11-feet high and weighs 10,000 pounds by artist Peter Hazel.

Off the Grid: Presidio Picnic

Off the Grid hosts a full season of Picnic at the Presidio from 11 am to 4 pm every Sunday through the fall at the Main Parade Ground Lawn.

Get ready for yummy offerings available for purchase from San Francisco’s favorite eateries and food trucks, a lively atmosphere and picnics on the lawn with a view of the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Though we don’t know the details for 2016 yet; in past years, they’ve offered Mimosa and Bloody Mary drink kits, an onsite DJ, classic picnic amenities like bocce ball, as well as game rentals and activities from Sports Basement. Blankets and Adirondack chairs are available to rent for a complete picnic experience.
