Free Summer Circus Day with Circus Bella

Circus Bella is a full-force, non-stop 60-minute kaleidoscope of thrilling feats of balance and strength, elegance demonstrations of grace and poise, and outrageous humor of slapstick antics.
The circus showcases static trapeze, rope walking, a 9-person juggling act, contortion, hula hoop, original clowning and more. This year’s show is filled to the brim with fantastic delights, heroic feats, comical antics, as well as plenty more tricks and surprises.
The mission of Circus Bella is to create a one-ring circus that uplifts diverse audiences, engages community, and challenges its artists. They put homegrown circus back into the ring, creating productions that are accessible, festive, and inspiring.

Pizza-making benefit for the local memory care facility
Learn how to make professional pizza, feast on your creations and donate pizzas to the local memory care facility. We’ll also learn about ways to keep our memory sharp from leading experts in the field. This program is hosted by WiderCircle and Pronto Pizza in partnership with Parks & Recreation of Redwood City.
This program is for community members with at least 60 years of experience on earth.

Uncorked: San Francisco Wine Festival
City View at the Metreon, San Francisco

The Inaugural Uncorked:SF Wine fest will take place Saturday June 25th at City View at the Metreon. This is more than just your average wine tasting event. This is a complete EXPERIENCE for wine lovers! It will feature over 50 wineries with more than 100 wines to sample, live music, artisanal food vendors, a Champagne bar, International wine market, custom photo booth, and a fun atmosphere to sip and savor with your friends.
There are two sessions to choose from: First session will have a VIP ($65) hour from 1-2pm then general admission will be from 2-5pm. The second session will be all GA ($55) from 6-9pm. The ticket price includes all your wine tastings, with food sold seperately.
Cocktail attire is requested but not required. 21 and over only. (sorry no babies or infants).
Tickets are refundable until June 18th.

San Francisco 2016 Pride Festival

The whole city comes alive in a rainbow burst of excitement at the 2016 San Francisco Pride Celebration.
46th Annual San Francisco Pride Celebration – Saturday, June 25, 2016 | Noon to 6 pm – Sunday, June 26, 2016 | 11 am to 6 pm – Parade – Sunday at 10:30am Civic Center, San Francisco FREE (The festival requests a $5-10 optional donation)
Security Screening Update – Please note that there will be additional security and screening for the Pride festival with metal detectors at all points of entry. Bags are highly discouraged and no bags over 18″x 18″ will be admitted. There are no lockers for storage of oversized bags.
On Pride Saturday, the Main Stage brings the best of local musical talent and cultural performances to the heart of San Francisco’s Civic Center Plaza.
San Francisco Pride is home to over 20 community-run stages and venues. They are a unique feature of the festival and a great way to experience firsthand the amazing diversity of the LGBT Community in San Francisco and beyond.

Pro Beach Vollyball Tournament

The Mens & Womens AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour will make its return to San Francisco. In one of the last domestic events before the Olympics, the City by the Bay will host the AVP for the first time since 2009.
Not only will there be intense competition with a scenic backdrop, but the tour features an entertainment schedule that includes interactive activities, music, food, and more.
Other seating/VIP range from $45-$400. Tickets will be available on-site based on availability at the AVP Box Office.

2016 San Francisco Pride Parade

Art meets politics in a fleet of floats, vehicles, and marchers along Market Street during the San Francisco Pride Parade, one the nation’s largest LGBT events, starting at 10:30 am on Pride Sunday.
Bring a rainbow flag and come cheer on dykes on bikes, bears in straps, trannies in gowns, and others from SF’s colorful LGBT community.
The parade is the culmination of a month of Pride-themed events in the city, leading up to an all-out celebration for Pride weekend with the Pride Festival in Civic Center Plaza.
Forty-six years strong, the San Francisco Pride Celebration and Parade unveils the theme,“For Racial and Economic Equality.”
With over 200 parade contingents and exhibitors, and more than 20 community-run stages and venues, the San Francisco Pride Celebration and Parade is the largest gathering of the LGBT community and allies in the nation.
The parade kicks off at 10:30 am at Market and Beale and ends at Market and 8th in downtown San Francisco. > Map

Off the Grid hosts a full season of Picnic at the Presidio from 11 am to 4 pm every Sunday through the fall at the Main Parade Ground Lawn.
Get ready for yummy offerings available for purchase from San Francisco’s favorite eateries and food trucks, a lively atmosphere and picnics on the lawn with a view of the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge.
Though we don’t know the details for 2016 yet; in past years, they’ve offered Mimosa and Bloody Mary drink kits, an onsite DJ, classic picnic amenities like bocce ball, as well as game rentals and activities from Sports Basement. Blankets and Adirondack chairs are available to rent for a complete picnic experience.
