Drake’s Brewing Company, San Leandro

5PM, 21+

Free

We’re kicking off our biggest release of the summer season with a series of events across California. The Ten Day Coma will begin at Drake’s Barrel House on July 17 featuring Aroma Coma, Aroma Prieta and our newest heavyweight: Aroma Therapy Double IPA.

Beginning at 5pm our parking lot will become a spectacle of sights, sounds and smells. Featuring a variety of bold eats from local food trucks, fire-spewing art cars, vaporizing hop volcanoes, live music, and some damned good beer, too. We will have the freshest Aroma Coma and Aroma Prieta available to take home in bottles, growlers, and 5 gallon kegs. To-go sales begin at noon; first come, first served.

Admission is FREE and the first 200 people to RSVP get an Aroma Coma poster*. Also up for grabs is a VIP package which includes an über-rare screen printed Aroma Coma AND Prieta poster set signed by brewmaster John Gillooly, a growler of Aroma Therapy DIPA to take home and a flight of all the beers before the event starts.

The AromaFest will also be a fundraiser for our local artist friends at BeeCharge who will be providing things that shoot giant flames in the air.  Queue up your senses and stay tuned for more events following the Ten Day Coma where Drake’s brewers will be aromatically assaulting taps across California.
