Dreaming Up at Beautiful 2016 – Half Day Workshop
Saturday January 2nd 9am – 1pm at San Geronimo Valley Community Center, West Room (that lovely smaller room in the center that has such nice energy).
Are you wishing for some conscious time to listen to your own heart about what you want for 2016, like I am? What if we could add a small group of people with whom you can share your vision and enjoy support and connection? Yea – let’s do that.
We all bring floor pillows, as we wish. There will also be chairs. I’ll bring some background music to help us ease into and between sessions. I will facilitate the session. We will use a mix of turning inward and answering our own questions privately, sharing with each other, drawing/writing (colored pens and large paper will be in the mix) and kinesthetic tools as well (tapping (aka EFT), moving around while we think, maybe even a bit of dance/walking/movement – nothing fancy and completely optional.
During the 2016 Intention Setting & Planning session we will move through three phases:
Grounding in the Present. Connect with where we are right now. Take an honest look at what we love and what we want to let go of from here.
Declare our Beautiful Vision for 2016. Guided visualizing to reveal our big beautiful vision for 2016. Knowing full well that we don’t actually control the specifics in reality, we enjoy and set intentions for what we want in 2016. Focus on the feelings, values and experiences we want to create for ourselves and those we care about.
Clear our minds, hearts and energy to take action on our vision. Create Spaciousness around our visions, dreams, thoughts, stories and beliefs so that we can take clear and unencumbered action. I will share my I.F. Today practice which I use regularly to help me move through fear and take scary but desired action in my own life. It’s simple and super effective (if you are familiar with Emotional Freedom Technique and Byron Katie then you will recognize those inside this practice.) We will also spend a bit of time sharing with each other additional practices that work in our own lives.
Frankly, I’m still really dreaming this up so the exact plan will probably shift. But the overall goal is this:
Step into 2016 with positive intention, clarity and beautiful confidence.
And I would love to do this with a group of people who want that same thing for their new year.
Suggested donation of $30 per person but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. I will have a place to offer your donation at the workshop. I created this because it’s what I was dreaming of – and getting to share it with you is awesome for me. If you are able to donate, it will help cover the costs of room rental, supplies and some light snacks I will bring.
