Don’t Miss San Francisco’s Finest Orchid and Garden Show!

For 65 years, the Pacific Orchid Exposition has thrived as the largest orchid show on the West Coast. This year, this beloved San Francisco event is expanding to include more gardening delights in a brand new venue: The Hall of Flowers in Golden Gate Park! Now dubbed the Pacific Orchid and Garden Exposition, the new show features thousands of orchids and so much more!

The 65th Annual Pacific Orchid and Garden Exposition takes place February 24-26, 2017 at The Hall of Flowers in San Francisco. This year’s show theme is “Big Ideas for Small Gardens” with a special focus on learning about helping plants thrive in apartments, on windowsills and in city environments.

The Pacific Orchid and Garden Exposition boasts over 100,000 beautiful orchids from around the world and features docent tours, orchid potting demonstrations, cultivation tips and a diverse array of orchids and gardening delights for sale. For the first time, the show will also offer specialty plants, gardening supplies, equipment and landscaping materials from only the best suppliers.

The event showcases intricate exhibits from local, national and international growers, as well as vibrant displays from Orchid Societies around California. Plus, throughout the weekend there is a silent auction featuring fabulous items to bid on like wine, art, trips, and more.

The Pacific Orchid and Garden Exposition is hosted by the San Francisco Orchid Society (SFOS), a 501 (c) (3) organization whose mission is to foster the culture and cultivation of orchids and to promote orchid education to its members and the public. The SFOS proudly supports local horticultural conservation efforts, including research and preservation efforts at the Conservatory of Flowers, the U.C. Botanical Garden at Berkeley and many other orchid conservation groups.
