BatchMade Market is a monthly chance to taste what’s cooking in Forage Kitchen. We line up our favorite chefs in their natural environment (that would be the kitchen), for you to taste and feast on their favorite recipes. Best of all it’s free to attend and free RSVP here gets you $1 off beer for the night!

  1. Monday – Fresh donuts made by Harvey’s Donuts, Hanukkah card-making, candle-making

  2. Tuesday – Yuca Beignets, Glowing Hanukkah Bottles

  3. Wednesday – Churros, Create Hygiene Kits for people experiencing homelessness

  4. Thursday – Edible dreidels and dreidel challenges

  5. Friday – Latkes, Light-up Science experiments

Children’s Book Drive: Share the light with us, and share a book with the community! December 3 – 28

The Children’s Book Project was founded to help build literacy by providing new and gently used books for free to children who need them. They are looking for new and gently-used items for ages 8 through 12, including popular children’s books, graphic novels, books in Spanish and books with diverse characters.

The biggest SantaCon Party is happening December 8th, 2018.


There’s nothing like seeing 8,000 Santas in one place at one time! All are welcome but we ask that you wear a full Santa/Elf suit (T-shirts don’t count and just a hat isn’t enough).

The biggest SantaCon Party is going down one block away from Union Square at HAWTHORN SF Club! We will be playing House Music, Reggaeton, Hip Hop & Top 40.

Note: This is a day party event in a club venue. Please be sure to bring a valid ID seeing as this is a 21+ event.

The Mayor’s Holiday Fair

City Hall invites you this Sunday, December 9 starting at 10:00am for what will be the event of the season. The Mayor’s Holiday Fair is the perfect event for families, children, and adults! Enjoy photos with Santa Claus, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa festivities, children’s games, face-painting, hot chocolate, snacks, and much more!
