On December 15th, almost exactly 9 months since it was abruptly closed, The Tap Room at Speakeasy Ales & Lagers will once again open its doors – no password required.
The remodel is complete, the permits have been signed off, and they can’t wait to open their doors. With a brand new glycol draft system with 17 tap handles, reimagined lighting, copper tables, and a brand new Crowler Station, the tap room has never looked better.
Come join them on Friday, December 15th as they open at 3 pm. Have a pint with them and then take home a freshly filled Crowler from one of our tap room only beers, including Holdout Stout, Speakeasy Dark Lager, Speakeasy Saison, Bourbon Session Stout, Big Daddy’s Humidor as well as their flagship beers. Plus B&J’s Backyard BBQ will be selling food from 5-9pm on opening day.
But stay tuned, this is just the beginning. Speakeasy officially celebrates its return with a Grand Opening event at the brewery on Saturday, January 27, 2018.

1st Annual “Carol Fest” With Real Snow Sledding

It’s that time of the year again when carol fests are abundant. Join First Baptist SF for their first annual Carol Fest on Friday, December 15, 2017 for snow sledding, carol sing-alongs and a life-size snow globe.

FirstSF is located at the corner of Octavia Boulevard and Waller Street, where Hayes Valley, Market Street and the Castro District meet. Just look for the Dome. Since they’ll be having all the festivities in their parking lots, plan on taking public transportation.

Join the Crawl SF Team at the Official San Francisco Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl!
On Saturday, December 16, we will be taking over some of the best bars in the city for a jolly ‘ol Holiday Pub Crawl complete with cheap drinks, sketchy holiday decorations and even a few gifts for some lucky crawlers. No matter how you celebrate the holidays, throwing back beers, holiday drinks and cruising from bar to bar is something that can be enjoyed by all. Feel free to throw on your best ugly Christmas Sweater, Hannukah-inspired gear or whatever tickles your fancy. Santa Costumes, Naughty Elves and other creative get ups are also welcome. Enjoy $3 Drinks, $3 Cocktails and $3 Shots at your favorite Polk Street Bars.

HOW DOES THIS WORK? Once you check in and receive your wristband and Pub Crawl Map, you can choose your own path. There will be too many people to be on a specific schedule, so you can just follow the crowd at your own pace. Specials will be available at ALL the bars during the event times.

The Crucible’s Holiday Gift Market

Dozens of leading artists, craftspeople, and Crucible faculty members will be selling their best hand-made pieces in a holiday celebration of local creative culture.
On December 16-17, they’ll have music, food, and drinks for sale, as well as demonstrations of Crucible areas of study. Their themed Open House events are a great way to learn more about their 56,000 square foot studio and seasonal class offerings.

SFMade presents its sixth annual Holiday Gift Fair at California College of the Arts in San Francisco. The shopping extravaganza is free and open to the public and features locally made gift items from over 50 SFMade vendors.
The fair’s unique products include jewelry, bags, chocolate, wine, other gourmet gifts, home items, apparel, body products, children’s toys, holiday cards and decorations, and stationery — all from local manufacturers and artisans who make their products in San Francisco.
