More than 30 food vendors, with a full bar and bands and DJs? Now that’s a party; it’s also California’s largest weekly street food market.
Discover everything from Beijing-style crispy-fried crepes (Jianbing) and Filipino desserts, to handmade pasta, Neapolitan pizza, and Haitian pork griot – along with sheltered lounge spaces and communal fire pits.
Off the Grid is a weekly outdoor mobile food bonanza staged every Friday from 5-10 pm at the historic waterfront campus of Fort Mason Center.
Music: Special DJ sets and live music every week. DJs are from 5-8, live music from 8-close.
Many of Off the Grid’s most popular creators have also returned for the 2019 season. Returning guests will be delighted to find favorites including La Cocina alum and momo master Bini’s Kitchen, empanada whisperer El Porteño, and Filipino-Mexican trailblazer Señor Sisig along with a rotating showcase of chefs and 6-week showcases of budding entrepreneurs as part of Off The Grid’s incubator program.

Botanicals and Brews
Conservatory of Flowers, San Francisco

Discover the unique tropical collection of the Conservatory of Flowers through the lens of craft brews. The third annual Botanicals and Brews features the Bay Area’s finest craft breweries who will proffer their delicious elixirs. Claim a picnic table and soak up the breathtaking views of the Conservatory and its valley. Then sip the night away in the galleries exploring the world of tropical plants.
Enjoy an illuminated Conservatory, live local music, curated food trucks, and beer and wine service hosted by We Bring The Bar. On select nights, enjoy an exclusively prepared brew developed in collaboration with the craft breweries. For an added thrill, experience a guided flight by expert craft beer makers in our Master Brewer session.

In Bloom
Our blooming collection and blooming taste buds mingle at this sumptuous thriller for the senses. Come see what’s new and “in bloom” in our collection and with Triple Voodoo Brewing and Novel Brewing Company. We are also featuring live music by pop/funk fusion Hush Crush and fabulous food offerings from Curry Up Now and SaborCatracho.

2019 Fremont Festival of India

FreeFremont’s annual Festival of India showcases India’s rich culture and heritage with a wide variety of dance and food, and is attended by over 150,000 people every year for the past 27 years.
Enjoy the two day fair with over 120 booths and exhibits on products, services, arts, crafts, literature, fashion and design. Highlights include a health fair, a dance competition, “FOG Idol” and a food fest.

The Umoja African Festival

The Umoja Festival promotes the advancement of African communities by inspiring connection. We celebrate our unity.
The Umoja Festival is the bay area’s largest free outdoor celebration of the African diaspora. Our annual music and culture festival is a full day of live local and internationally renowned musicians and dancers, interactive and experiential artists, and marketplace of curated artisan and food booths representing a wide array of different regions of Africa.
Umoja is the Swahili word for unity and represents the belief that through unity we make vital economic and social progress. This grassroots collaboration grew out of a desire to bring together the marginalized voices of prominent African communities to fully participate in Oakland and the greater bay area’s growth.

Presidio Picnic

San Francisco’s favorite family picnic is back for 2019. Presidio Picnic brings together the best of the Bay Area food scene with the beauty of this national park site and views of the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge.
Held on the seven acre Main Parade Ground lawn, this weekly community event features food and drink from more than 30+ international mobile food creators representing the best of San Francisco’s multicultural food scene curated by Off the Grid.
But it’s not just about the grub; visitors can enjoy an ever-changing array of free activities including yoga classes, lawn games, a Presidio photo booth, free kids bike-riding lessons from the Presidio YMCA, and nature-based arts and crafts for kids in the Presidio Adventure Zone tent.
Grab a blanket and head to your national park for Presidio Picnic. This great family event takes place on the Presidio’s beautiful Main Parade Ground, a seven-acre lawn with views of the park, the city, and the San Francisco Bay.

Join us for the final show of our 82nd Season with a free concert starring R&B legends The Isley Brothers.
American R&B/soul group from Cincinnati, Ohio, established in the early 1950s. OKelly Isley, Rudolph Isley, Ronald Isley and Vernon Isley (died 1956 in automobile accident) comprised the original group. They released their early hit “Shout!” in 1959. In 1963 they started own label T-Neck, and added a young Jimi Hendrix on lead guitar. In 1965 they signed on to Motown where they recorded “This Old Heart Of Mine”. They left Motown in 1968 and re-launched the T-Neck label in 1969 when they released “It’s Your Thing”. In 1973 they added the younger brothers Ernie and Marvin Isley, as well as OKelly’s brother-in-law Chris Jasper to their regular lineup. During this era from 1973 to 1983 the group continued to release hits like “Between the Sheets”, “Choosey Lover” or “For the Love Of You”. Inducted into Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1992 (Performer).
