The Great Urban Race San Francisco
Nearly 1,000 festive racers navigated San Francisco’s streets and public transit system to complete a fun and challenging race.
Racers completed a boot camp in the Presidio, tagged a building in SoMa (legally!), found their custom fortune cookies in Chinatown, discovered the world’s oldest cable car, shook hands with canines, and helped raise over 2,000 dollars to help fight Huntington’s Disease.
Two hours and twenty one minutes after the race began, Justin and Charlie Graham (Tweedles) crossed the finish line with all clues solved correctly. A big congratulations for an impressive performance!
Thank you to our sponsors Yelp.com and Native Eyewear, Merle from Team Hope, the helpful staff at Sports Basement, Dan from 1AM SF, Megan from Presidio Fitness, Jose from the Cable Car Museum, Marcus from Asqew Grill and all of our fantastic volunteers!
Incredible weather in an incredible city – we could not have asked for a better day. Our staff had a blast and we are excited to return in 2010!
