Q: How did you originally hear about The Job Shop? A: A search on Google led me to them.
Q: Can you tell us a little about the permanent position you’ve been hired into? A: I was hired in as Office Manager/Executive Assistant to the Founder of North of Nine Communications in San Francisco. I am very excited to be working for such a great company and working alongside great people. It’s both challenging and fun.
Q: What do you think most contributed to your success in achieving a permanent position? A: Being a quick learner, communicating well with my peers and being on time and willing to do more than asked.
Q: Do you have any tips for readers hoping to duplicate your success? A: It’s tough out there right now. If you want to be hired permanently, work your butt off for it. Give it your all, because if you don’t, someone else will.
Q: What did you find most helpful about working with The Job Shop? A: They were on my side. They were advocates when I needed one. Plus, they are great bunch of folks that care about you and want you to succeed.
Q: What was most challenging about your job search, and how did you overcome it? A: The countless great interviews that went nowhere. That was very frustrating. Thanks to the Jobshop for finding the right fit for me.
Q: Anything else you’d like to add about your experience? A: Don’t give up. They wont stop trying to find you a home.
