Provides assistance with and facilitates the human resource process and office service organization including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation/payroll administration, benefit administration, employee development, training, safety and employee services and executive support.
General Accountabilities
Answers employee requests and questions.
Assists with new employee background checks.
Assists with recruitment and onboarding.
Assists with new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
Prepares paperwork required to place employees on payroll and establishes personnel file.
Schedules meetings and interviews as requested.
Files and maintains employee records.
Assists payroll & payroll taxes.
Assists with processing of terminations.
Prepares and process service awards for employees.
Assists and acts as backup for office services coordinator relating to office equipment, sample requests, security access cards, building requests, incoming & outgoing mail/UPS, new hire workstation setup, and coordinate with staff regarding PC and related equipment matters.
Handles office management issues including ensuring safe and comfortable work environment, maintaining phone system, offsite document storage, parking tickets, carpet cleaning, bereavement and special occasion donation/flowers, and general suite needs.
Selects and orders corporate calendars, holiday cards, and See's gift chocolates. Coordinates with regional branches to gather mailing addresses of all calendar recipients.
Provides clerical support to Executives.
Prepares expense report for Executives.
Job Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business management, or a related field
Experience: 1-2 years of related experience
