We at The Job Shop take great pride in the caliber
of our employees and wish to thank all of you who continue to maintain

We have provided some information here to help ensure your success
as a representative of our company. Should you have any questions
or if we can be of assistance with a particular situation, just
let us know.
Timesheet for temps:
IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT TIMESHEETS & PAYCHECKS
!!
- All timesheets must be submitted by Monday at 12:00 pm.
- If you fax your timesheet, call us to verify that we received
the fax.
- You must get a supervisor signature.
- Mark on your timesheet every week whether you would
like your paycheck mailed or held.
- PAYDAY:
Friday after 12:00 noon. If you are picking up your check,
were here until 6:00 p.m. on Fridays. If you are having
your check mailed, it will be put in the mailbox on Friday afternoon.
- We want to get your paycheck to you! If you change your
address or phone number, please let us know so that we can send
your paycheck to the correct address and are able to call you
if we have any questions.
On a related topic, if you work through The Job Shop, and if your
mailing address changes after you have signed up with us, please
let us know so that we can mail your W-2 tax forms at the beginning
of the year. You will need these forms to file your federal and
state taxes by April 15th.

SOME TIPS FOR SUCCESSFUL TEMPING:
- We ask that you show up on time to your assignment. You are
not only representing yourself, but as an employee of The Job Shop you
are also representing us.
- On assignment, please do not use the clients property
(computers to access the internet, phones for personal calls, fax machines,
etc) without permission.
- Please turn your cell phone ringer off so it will not
disturb other employees at the job site. We ask that you limit use of
your cell phone to designated break times while on assignment. Please
find an area where you will not disturb other employees while on your
cell phone.
- In the case of illness, tardiness, time off from the assignment,
or any other issue, please phone us during business hours, leave
a message if it is not during regular business hours. We will then contact
the client on your behalf.
- Please keep us updated on your availability so that we can
keep you working as much as possible.
- Please do not accept an assignment unless you are prepared to complete
it. Reliability is top priority in this business. If you leave a job
without cause you will be terminated from any future assignments. However,
if for any reason you are unable to complete the predetermined duration
of an assignment, CALL US IMMEDIATELY. You are expected to remain
until we can secure a replacement for you.
